How to Play
Connect to WU servers in your browser
Our Counter-Strike 1.6 servers run on PLAY-CS.COM — no classic Steam install required. Open the site from your desktop browser, hit PLAY ▶ on a server card, and you are in.
Use the home page or the full Servers page to see live player counts. For scrim times and chat, join us on Discord or Telegram.
What you need
- A modern desktop browser — Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari
- Stable internet; headphones and a mic help for team play
- No separate CS 1.6 client install when playing through PLAY-CS.COM
Join in four steps
- Open Our Servers or the Our Servers section on the home page
- Choose a server and click PLAY ▶ — you will land on PLAY-CS.COM
- Let the client load; the first visit can take a little longer
- Enter your nickname if asked, then wait for the map to finish loading

Player counts on our site refresh automatically — pick a busy server or bring friends to fill an empty one.
Basic controls
- Move: W A S D · Jump: Space · Crouch: Ctrl
- Shoot: Left mouse · Aim: Right mouse (when enabled on server)
- Buy menu: B · Chat: Y (all) / U (team)
- Bindings may differ slightly — check PLAY-CS.COM in-game help if something feels off
